OFA tyre traction chains

Our range of forestry chains includes durable and wear-resistant OFA tyre traction chains made in Finland. The chains are intended for modern forestry machines and varying circumstances where good traction, tyre protection, and the extra weight of the chain are required. OFA chains are made of high-quality boron steel; thickness options include 11, 13, 16, or 19 mm, depending on the tyre size and chain model.

Our range include Paragon Soft, Paragon Rock, and Matti W forestry chains. Different density options and diamond patterns are available, depending on the model and tyre size. Paragon Soft 16 is a development of the original Paragon 16 with improved performance on soft terrains. The longitudinal chain lines are a unique feature of Paragon 16. These promote smooth running and lower rolling resistance. Furthermore, the dual link chain lines, small cross diamonds and side tension chain make fitting, service and adjust easier than traditional diamond chains. The tensioning chain, which is standard on Paragon 16 chains, along with other features promote excellent fitment to the tyre and protection for the tyre sidewall and shoulders.

The dual link, longitudinal chain lines are a unique feature of Paragon 16 Rock. These promote smooth running and lower rolling resistance. Furthermore, the dual link chain lines, small cross diamonds and side tension chain make fitting, service and adjust easier than traditional diamond chains. The tensioning chain along with other features promote excellent fitment to the tyre and protection for the tyre sidewall and shoulders. Paragon 16 Rock is not recommended for soft and muddy terrains.

Paragon 16 Rock specifications

Matti W forestry chains meet all the challenges of the professional logging work: it holds and bites where ordinary steel would bend. Matti W is manufactured from straight-link chain and it is available in several pitch (regular, tight and supertight) with diamond pattern. Matti W is available for light and heavy-weight forest machines – for conditions where excellent grip, tyre protection and additional weight are required. Most of the chain dimensions have a tension chain for easier tightening.
